Waterford, was the Champion of the 1998 Stallion Licensing and Champion of the 1999 Stallion Performance test in Germany. The elegant chestnut sire is from the Hanoverian State Stud at Celle in Germany and imported in 2006 by Lynn McEnespy of Chico, California.
His sire is Wolkenstein II (winner of his stallion testing) who is by the famous Weltmeyer (winner of his stallion testing). His dam, Minna is by the modern refining stallion, Matcho AA (winner of his stallion testing) and her dam is by the famous dressage sire, Pik König.
Waterford won the Stallion Performance Test over 36 stallions in 1999 with a phenomenal dressage score of 154.48 points (first out of 36), a very good score of 115.84 for jumping (seventh out of 36), and an overall winning score of 149.94.
In 2007 Waterford had had a spectacular show season in Calif. He won 18 of 22 classes at 3rd and 4th
level.

Waterford has produced almost 500 offspring with several licensed stallion sons, Verden Auction selected horses, premium mares and foals. He has a very high Integrated Breed Value Estimation by the German FN of 163 for Dressage, in the top 1% of all warmblood stallions.
He consistently passes on his incredible temperament, movement, power, and elastic movement.

Testing results include scores of 9 for Temperament, Rideability, Walk, Trot and a 10 for Canter resulting in an extremely high dressage score of 154.48. He is also a very capable jumper scoring an overall 115.84 and 8 for course jumping. He is especially suitable for hunters.
