Three beautiful, correct gaits, clean changes, smooth ride, docile attitude. This horse does it all: pulls a cart, bows, pushes cattle, goes bareback in a halter, but most of all, will jump anything you point him at. Jumped .85m and .95m successfully at his FIRST show ever at Estes Park AA rated show, summer 2011. Did not school in the ring before the show; not a big deal at all. Started over fences late spring 2011 and has schooled up to 3’3”.
He is very kind about a 14-year-old beginner student riding him on the flat. He is very willing to either get to work or pack a rider around leisurely.
If you want a horse who can take jokes and still mean business, Latigo is the horse for you. Would make a great confidence-building amateur horse, with talent to jump the big fences.
Currently doing his job barefoot and requires no special maintenance.

At his very first horse show in Estes Park (AA rated), summer 2011 he picked up high placings in big fields. Came back the 3rd week and left with a blue. He competed in the .85m and .95m jumpers and was not bothered by much of anything.
